Is the ninth planet in our solar system really a planet?

Answer yes or no, giving reasons for your answer.

Because we changed the definition of "planet" so that we wouldn't have to include a dozen others.

No, it is a dwarf planet. There are other dwarf planets bigger than him, so we are either gonna have 100ds of planets or 8 planets and a bunch of insignificant dwarf ones

Back in the day, we had a lot of other 'planets' in between Mars and Jupiter. Then we kept finding more and more, and now we call them 'asteroids'.

Same thing with Pluto and its cousins in the Kuiper Belt. Plutoids.

No; it has not cleared its orbit. It might also be a binary system with Charon, which I believe would make it lose all claim to planethood.

It's a dwarf planet.
I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

Why? Do you hate the existence of experts so much that you refuse to consider the opinion of an international body composed of pretty much all PhD-level astronomers and above on the planet (ie the IAU, not NASA, FYI) to be definitive?

No. It's too small to clear an orbital path, so it crosses orbits with Neptune, Planet's aren't allowed to do that.

Now, can someone tell my 9th science teacher Pluto's not a planet? I tried telling her but she won't believe me... Or NASA.
