The accessory sentence of a ban from holding office has been annulled; the Cassazione has ordered the Milan Appeal Court to debate the length of the ban again.

In my opinion that is way too light. The fact that Berlusconi won't be serving it in prison, as Risottia stated, makes it that much worse. Twenty years for first-degree murder is way too light as well.

1st degree murder would be with premeditation, right? In Italy the maximum sentence for that is 30 years (until some years ago it was life in jail).

Anyway, the courtroom has been opened to the journalists, the judges are expected to pop up in 30 minutes, after a longish delay.
