It's fair to say that in the "olden" days,homosexuality was well,not acceptable among family. It's also fair to say that since the beginning of the new millennium that homosexuality has somewhat skyrocketed among teens. Now let's all admit that at one point in time we all went through a phase of some sort. Weather it be, being goth or something of that nature, then we sort of grew out of it.

I think there's a difference between gays and all those LGBT protesters or whatever the hell they are. A LOT of people, I believe, are holding these parades and doing stupid shit for some reason, probably to provoke us or make themselves feel superior. People do think that it's cool, but there are genuine gays out there, usually they're the quiet ones that don't wave it around.

No, what's changed is that it's okay to come out as what these people are, they don't have to hide it, and it may be that someone who hadn't recognized how they feel now knows what to call themselves or who they are. That doesn't make it any less sincere.
