I've gotten the nickname "Dude" for the amount of White Russians I drink.

Typically Canadian Club, Panama Jack, Kahlua, and Baileys are my drinks of choice.

That was a good night.

*Edit: But to be fair it was over a 7-8 hour period, I had two meals, have a high tolerance to Dairy/alcohol products, and have a hyperactive metabolism.

I can't get my self to like the taste of it, add to that the fact makes me feel sick.

It's a shame. I don't mind those that do drink though, assuming they don't get drunk. I have a very low tolerance for drunk people.

There is little point in drinking if you aren't going to drink enought to let it affect you.

This thread's for people who drink alcohol, as well as discussion about alcohol. In this thread you can say what kind of alcohol you like most, if you make mixes or not, wether or not you think it's a social problem, why you do(n't) drink, etc. Basically, it's an alcohol thread!

I'd like to ask you all to stay polite, calm, and not to flame people who use alcohol.

Personally, I like rum and vodka, and usually mix rum with cola (AKA Cuba Libre) and vodka with orange juice. I don't drink much beer or wine, as I consider these two too bitter for my own tastes, though when offered a Radler - Beer with citron juice - I'd accept it, because it tastes sweet rather than bitter.
So what about you guys? Do you drink, or not? Why, or why not? Do you drink mixes or do you drink straight out of the bottle? All those and more, just discuss alcohol, what alcoholic drinks you like, why you like it, how you like it, etc.

Yes, I drink. Not too often but I do. I'm quite partial to red wine (although I like me a good Albarinho vert occasionally), but can have a beer at times (I like reds). I also enjoy rum and tequila, in small quantities as my body doesn't tolerate alcohol like it used to.

I vary between brewed and distilled.

Often I drink all kinds of beer, though certain occasions allow deviations. We tend to buy cheap liquor and mix it with soft drink.

In terms of beer I like to vary. I live in a country with a wide variety of choices, so that isn't much of a problem.

I could have easily called myself a borderline alcoholic in my teens really but now I rarely drink anymore. although when I do drink I like a good beer mostly Blue Moon and the like as well as whisky and vodka. so I'm a social drinker now and I quite like it this way.

I enjoy vodka and sometimes rum. Normally I will mix the vodka with either lemonade or OJ, I can't drink it otherwise. I kinda want to go buy some vodka now.
