But I guess it was just peer pressure that really drove me into starting drinking, and I don't think it was a bad thing. I would've missed out on so many things if I had remained a teetotaller.

Anyway, my personal favorite alcoholic drink is Gin Long Drink or lonkero, a Finnish mild alcoholic beverage that kinda tastes like grapefruit. Some ciders are nice as well, but over here ciders are considered "women's drinks" so don't drink them too often. Rum cola is a close second, though most people here can't really mix it right.
In the other end of the spectrum are beers (I never understood how anyone could like it, it tastes like liquid bread to me) and all kinds of overly sweet chocolate/cocoa/hazelnut liquors and all cocktails that contain them.

Heh.
You ought to try scrumpy, then.
Especially the farm-made stuff.
Plus, dry ciders (my preferred sort) isn't sweet.

I can't get my self to like the taste of it, add to that the fact makes me feel sick.
It's a shame. I don't mind those that do drink though, assuming they don't get drunk. I have a very low tolerance for drunk people.

Will do. I go for both sweet and dry. Depends which is on sale.![]()
To be fair though, I'm happy cider's being enjoyed by a wider amount of people. And this way, if I offer a lass a sip of my drink she's more likely to say yes. Even if I cop a bit of flak from the lads.
