Isn't that one of their primary functions as women though?

We should embrace it, if anything.

Being too messy can equate almost in an identical manner to being too clean/tidy, ironically, when it comes to its tendency to annoy people.

or they aren't working their asses off all day.

What are you suggesting by this?

If you have time to 'keep up' you're one of the lucky people who have time to do so. An individual who works long, mentally fatiguing but physically undemanding hours is going to find it difficult to maintain their body. Compare that to the person who does fuck all but go to the gym for a bit and then enjoy leisure activities for the rest of their day.

Both might have tidy personalities but i'd much rather involve myself with the non lazy type

For friends, I don't think it's important at all.

For partners? It's a factor, though I find myself drawn romantically to people through personality more than any immediate focus on looks, I guess it must have some role.

Are my looks personally important to me? Uh.. I'm aware I'm never going to be anything more than a forgettable face in the crowd, so I make myself look presentable but past that I can't see what point is in doing any more.

Ah, I see.

Dependency on me is a factor, as in can the potential partner care for herself when I'm in turmoil that causes me to lack the ability to 100% of the time, basically how lazy she is.

It's not in the top five, but it's there--and I'd honestly be content with a middle ground: one who isn't incredulously lazy, but one who doesn't work so hard that I never get to see her, spend time with her, or pull her away from her work to engage in conversation/various acts of love-making with her.

It's amusing, yes, that doesn't make it true.

Presumably, yes, to other people.

Personally, I don't care about my looks, and have a sufficiently hard time remembering faces and bodies that I rarely notice them in others. It's entirely possible that people may initially think of me as a slob, dork, or other undesirable character due to my appearance, but if so, they never tell me, so I don't think about it much.

Internet submission, combatting sooociiiety, false ideology, and so forth: I've been babbling on about this stuff for a while, this isn't the place to give a lecture, and I'll probably get in trouble if I make an attempt.

So carry on, and live as though it hasn't happened.Just be ready for when it does.

And what about dating? Should looks matter then? I think looks are pretty important. It's shallow to date a person solely on their looks (*lusts after Taylor Lautner anyway*) but looks do start things for me, at least. What about you?

I agree. Actually, you can judge a person quite by their looks. Acne and raggidy hair point out that they don't take care of their body the way they should. An "ugly" face however, is just natural. Not their fault. I tend to base things on personality, but looks usually relate to personality, in a way.

Whats wrong with raggidy hair? >:(

:p

Nothing wrong with raggidy hair, I'm just saying that those who don't take care of their body are usually lazy. Not in all cases, though. But if you, Maurepas, have raggidy hair, then you're lazy. :p
