Don't think that didn't work. My brother lives in Birmingham, they first got wheelie bins a few weeks back...

Well, he and his housemates are from sensible places that have them as a matter of course. I don't think he knows it's part of a trial though, he didn't mention that.

I *think* that's how it's working. Our councillors spend a lot of time explaining the effort they're putting into stopping it, but not much explaining what 'it' actually is. I'm still quite sure they're just angry because we didn't elect the MP they were pushing for.
