For instance, porn makes it seem like it's easy to get laid. Children are not mature enough to know that's not true. Porn also encourages promiscuity and what not. While I'm not arguing any religious bullshit, why should we encourage irresponsibility, I understand tolerate, but why encourage? We have enough underage pregnancies and kids catching STDs as is.

Around that age they probably haven't had proper sex education either, and so they'll go out and imitate what they saw, and since most pornstars don't use contraception on film, they'll do it without protection.

Overall, they're just too young for that stuff.

I remember when I did Politics (very briefly) at AS-level, and our teacher was making such a huge thing about how the LibDems would always be runner-up to the Socialists and the Tories. How they'd never win an election, come second or even be a hung parliament.

You really don't give kids enough credit.

I saw my first porno when I was about 5 (long story behind that, most details I will not share). I certainly knew all the biological truths about sex by the time I was six. I grew up in the country, believe me, farm kids know exactly where babies come from having seen process many times with animals. Kids just aren't interested in sex. If they know about it they may masturbate, but they lack a sex drive. Masturbation is just a game to them. Learning about sex even through porn doesn't instantly turn them into sex crazed hellions.
