Yes in favor of men empowering/idealizing them and making differences for their own gender's benefit. Most of the time Women are degraded for their loss and for men's benefit. I mean if you are for realistic and not idealized characters then good for you. But the idealization of men isn't against them.

But some positive gender stereotypes are made by the people who are represented to make themselves look better and developed than the other one. It's still a good thing to be against them but the the characters with those stereotypes aren't harming their own gender but the other.

Muscle is attractive because it insinuates strength--I wouldn't mind some muscular women. Being shirtless is not impractical compared to some of the shit the ladies wear.

Doesn't matter some looks are made to appeal to sexist and/or perverted players. We're focusing on different but related issues on sexism. You see i'm focusing more on character rather than looks alone. Since we're not a hive mind skyrim has mostly nothing wrong other than giving players the option to look like a sex object which isn't a problem in of itself IMHO.

There is the weight slider, but that just makes them bigger altogether. The only really revealing pieces of armor are the fur armors, and they're revealing for the male characters too. Skyrim is a pretty bad example of sexism in video games, it features several strong female characters who think as well and independently as the male ones, (which doesn't say much given Artificial Stupidity and the fact that it's a single player game).

Tekken has costumes which might be considered objectifying, if that's what you're asking. Nina Williams would be an especially potent lightning rod for criticism in that regard.

I think the biggest problems I've seen with sexism is in online games. How often do you see online games with woman in skimpy, revealing "armor"? All I can think about is "Why the fuck would you wear armor that exposes your belly of all places?". Not only is it stupidly illogical (even for video games), it just clearly shows what they are trying to get at with it. It serves no purpose other then to make a sexualized female.

The fact that the game is marketted to males might have something to do with it.

Am I saying Nina Williams is a sexist character in every way? No, she isn't all bad. And it's not even necessarily sexist or objectifying to have a character wear revealing outfits. It's just that there comes a point where it becomes apparent that a character's outfits were designed simply to cater to the target audience rather than to provide some sort of meaningful characterization. Whether Nina's outfits cross that line or not is hard to say considering her personality. It's much easier to point to Ivy from the Soul series as an example of crossing that line.

Granted the breast armor is blatant fan-service. Practical armor would dictate padding rather than showing off the breasts.
