Explain how it is dangerous. Of course it is real, the Earth as been warming since the last ice age. But will humans and plants all die out? No. Will there be an apocalypse? No. Global warming is definitely better than global cooling, that's for sure.

Climate change has historically been cyclical, the Earth has gone through numerous hot spells and ice ages (it has even totally frozen over in the past, it is called "Snowball Earth"). The problem is that by introducing so much CO2 and ozone destroying compounds into the atmosphere we may be effecting the climate enough to interrupt this calm period in Earth's climate.

2) There are no real harmful side effects to pot. The only thing i could possibly think of is that it brings out paranoia(during the time of the high) in those who are predisposed to mental disorders which can actually be seen as a good thing because it can help you prepare for what might come later on down the road in life.

In what way is what I wrote clumsy "New Atheist" invective? By and large, medicine uses pretty much whatever treatments have been shown to work without too much by way of side effects. Most forms of alternative medicine have no evidence backing them beyond the placebo effect (see the earlier link about acupuncture, for example, where "fake acupuncture" with the needles in the "wrong" places works much like as the "real thing").

You implied that all medicine besides modern industrially-produced medicine is uniformly ineffective, using the example of one particular treatment which has nothing to do with many other treatments labeled "alternative". This is extremely lazy thinking. It's just New Age gullibility in reverse.

Have you actually read that? It doesn't support your claim that "global warming is better than global cooling," and it says precisely nothing about die-out of plant or animal life as a result of climate change itself (it is looking at change in sea level specifically).

Evolution did happen but it was set in place by God, global warming only raises the average temperature by 1 degree fahrenheit every 10 years, and the civil war was about the south wanting cultural independence from the rest of America
