This means she is not ruling out either a run at President in 2012, or actually having the guts to name Glenn Beck as her running partner. What do you think about this? I think it's hilarious someone like Palin would think she could lead the nation. And even more so, thinking that Glenn Beck can help her.

Dont be so sure. Look at it this way. The Middle class has always been silent. They have gernally voted Republican because it was in thier interests. They also tended to "vote party lines" without putting much thought into it.

Now, with Dems being Far left, and Repubs being Left of Center, the only ones who are Right of Center, which BTW, MOST Americans see themselves, are the Independant Conservatives.

we realize that in politics, there are certain compromisesthat must be made. Now, if you start at the center and compromise to the Left, you get "Obamacare" which polls show America does not want (too far to the left of center).

If you start at the far right, and compromise, you end up with Fixing Medicare/Medicaide, Tort reform, Helping the widows and the orphans, and you end up Right of Center, just where America is.

When you have charismatic leaders (Obama or Palin/Beck) who have the ear of the people, and the people are fed up with the crap they are being fed, change, real change will come to pass.

The problem with Obama is that he is as far left as Palin/Beck are right. When you compromise, you still end up Left of Center, far away from where America is.

Tell me, how close did Doug Hoffman get to the Dem in NY23? As far as I know, the counting is still going on and he still could win it.

Yeah, the "Center Left" will decide this next race. Problem is the RINOs that go on the tickets and are backed by the RNC (Dede Scazzafavi). Newt jumped the shark in NY23. He is done and so is the GOP base. I have a felling I know what Beck will be doing in FL tomorrow. I have a feeling I know what Palin is up to. There will be a 3rd party that will be a real contender in 2010 and 2012. Actually, it will be a 2nd party because Dems and GOP are the same right now.

If Palin becomes president/vice president I think I'll have to leave the country. It is difficult to find a more radical and insane person in the united states. If this happens I'll legitimately worry about the safety of many people in the US.

Seriously, she supports shooting wolves from helicopters and using taxpayer money to buy wolf feet from the dog killers :( A wolf is about just like your dog only wild. Remember how you were all upset about that guy who threw his dog off the bridge? Well what palin supports is pretty much the same except there is no vet... The wolf slowly bleeds to death.

10. It would be nice to have a 3rd party in office while the RINOs and the Dems take a time out.

They'd never get elected. You know why?

Both appeal only to hardliners like yourself, who would only vote Republican anyway. Palin terrified the moderates. And they're the ones who really decide elections. Not the "republican base."

I just wonder what said party would be.

Something with Conservative in it. Probably "American Conservative Party" or simple "Conservative". Hoffman ran as (C), for NY Conservative party.

Regardless, it'll be a slaughterfest.

Dont be so sure. Look at it this way. The Middle class has always been silent. They have gernally voted Republican because it was in thier interests. They also tended to "vote party lines" without putting much thought into it.

The middle class doesn't benifit at all.
Now, with Dems being Far left, and Repubs being Left of Center, the only ones who are Right of Center, which BTW, MOST Americans see themselves, are the Independant Conservatives.

You're kidding. The Democrats are really center-right and the Republicans are fascist.
we realize that in politics, there are certain compromisesthat must be made. Now, if you start at the center and compromise to the Left, you get "Obamacare" which polls show America does not want (too far to the left of center).

The americans support it very well y'know.
If you start at the far right, and compromise, you end up with Fixing Medicare/Medicaide, Tort reform, Helping the widows and the orphans, and you end up Right of Center, just where America is.

Not true. The republicans are just looking for campain money from the insurance cos and would like to see people die if nessisary to give the cos max profit.
When you have charismatic leaders (Obama or Palin/Beck) who have the ear of the people, and the people are fed up with the crap they are being fed, change, real change will come to pass.

Sooociiiety is whole 'nother subject...
The problem with Obama is that he is as far left as Palin/Beck are right. When you compromise, you still end up Left of Center, far away from where America is.

The wide consensus here is that Obama is center-right. And in politics, consensus = fact.

Meh, got my hopes up, sorry. But yeah, I doubt a 3rd party would ever win with our corrupt system.
