If I were a poor woman, I'd risk my life if it meant I wouldn't dive deeper into poverty. Not all coat hanger abortions are fatal, but far more of them are than safe ones that bigots want banned.

You are not the final arbiter of what women can and can't do with their own bodies.

The problem here is that you are disregarding an actual life as less important than a potential life. That's not how it works. I know risks are good and all but really, this is a uncalculated risk that, if the woman DECIDES not to take such a risk, she should be entirely able to abort without the repercussions to her health.

I got it late, we went to the pharmacies in my town and the two towns nearest but they were all closed. Such is the life of living in the boonies. And the later you take it, the less effective it is, ya dig?

That's different, you at least tried. I would have no sympathy for you otherwise, you were responsible, and as such mistakes like that happen even so. But to acknowledge that not using protection would lead to a higher risk of pregnancy, and still not using protection, that's very irresponsible.
