And no Hades and Hell are separate . Hell is ultimately final destruction where as Hades would be temporary housing, like Sheol or Purgatory. Honestly I'm on open waters at this point.

I have noticed many things about Christianity that are borrowed from Greek Mythology.

Sad part is, that was a pretty well reasoned answer. How correct it is, I couldn't really say.

There is so much. You know what? I have found some information that can justify my claim. It's a little humorous but read it carefully.

Only Hellenic polytheists believe in such a (literal) monstrosity rather than an actual metaphor.

Umm...you know that Hebrew scripture predates Hellenistic culture by about 1000 years, right? So none of that makes any sense.

Nor does it really talk about romantic love in any case, except marriage, which is defined as one man one woman. So the leap is not difficult to make.

There are many different types of marriage in the Bible.

Your touching on reality :) but you haven't quite grasped it :palm: . The simply truth is that the reason that Greek thought and mythology have some similarities with Christianity is that the Greek, just as in any other real religion, has elements of the truth. Any detailed look at these traditions shows common themes, this is easily acknowledged by people both in the Christian tradition (J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis) and outside it (Joseph Campbell). While Campbell certainly gets even nearer the truth only Tolkien and Lewis really grasp it.
To outline this briefly; man is estranged from God :( but he is not wholly lost :) , all, even the Norse pagan, feel some sense of His presence and goodness and just as the Greeks call to the muse for inspiration they really call out to God, the muse etc. is their distortion. Bad summary but it naturally follows that the pagan or heretic still holds on to some distorted truth that is still naturally full of truth while the Christian alone among the creeds is the key, the truth, and thus all faiths bare something in resemblance or in common with it. This is not to say all pagans are equal, the Greek is quite arguable closer than the shamanist for instance, and thus the Greek appears much more "in line" and similar. Its all about proximity to the truth.

Therefore you might say that Christian things are not borrowed from the Greek, rather the Greeks "borrowed" a piece of the truth which ultimately comes from God, only the Christian (and before them the Hebrews and people like Job) got it directly and Whole. No wonder it seems that the piece fits into the Whole.
