And for the record, the Packers ARE in another tier above the rest of the division. The Packers have 4 Super Bowls, the rest of the division has 1. If you want recent recent stats, Green Bay is 12-1 (including playoffs) against the division in the last 2 years.

And guess what? He still makes a hell of a lot more money than you do, so he probably doesn't care what you have to say about him.

I'm a Vikings fan. There is no chance we make a run at the playoffs this year.

Given how banged up the Packers are already, the fact that the Bears are dealing with a full change-over in coaching, and the Lions are the Lions, I actually think the Vikings have a pretty good shot to win the division. Certainly a better chance than last year.

Harvin is gone, but Jennings is a serviceable replacement. They've also drafted very well on both sides of the ball over the last two years, and thanks to the Harvin trade, are set for future additions.

Much depends on if Ponder can continue improving. He went from a 54.3% completion rate in his rookie year to a 62.1% completion rate last year. I don't think he'll sustain that rate of improvement, but even a modest gain will put him in the top ten of the league in most passing categories.

Not true at all. Tons of players every year change teams with class. Someone with pride and dignity changes teams and keeps their mouth shut about their old team. I can guarantee that Leslie Frazier and the rest of the coaching staff isn't happy about Jennings running his mouth. They know it reflects poorly on the franchise, and it provides bulletin board material for Green Bay.

He'll probably do worse, since he'll get less opportunities. I don't know that actual numbers, but I'm sure that the Vikings of significantly less pass attempts per game than Green Bay. You could say that he may get just as many targets in Minnesota, because he is playing with a much worse receiving corps around him, but that may be a negative. Defenses can focus on stopping Jennings in the passing game, whereas in Green Bay they had to worry about Nelson, Driver (when he was still good), Jones, Cobb (last year), and Finley (occasionally elite).

Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Boston College, Army, Navy, Alabama... what do all of these teams have in common, aside from the fact that I hate them (Army and Michigan excused)? They all look infinitely better without a logo. It's part of the programs' deep history. If the Browns logo (or lack thereof) is so terrible, what are they going to transition to that's so superior? I'm afeared of the day that Haslam the Crook puts an ugly ass bulldog on the side of the helmet. Make it your half-field logo, make it a shoulder logo even - it can't be worse than the Jags' new joke of a logo... but leave the helmet alone.
