Bon Jon Jovi wants to buy the Bills and move them to Toronto when Ralph Wilson dies.

And I don't like the way the Vikes are playing (if you could call it that). Look at it this way, if we do lose out we stand a chance of picking up an actual QB in the draft making a GIGANTIC leap forward for next year by drafting a QB who completely sucks and knows nothing about football.

In the one with my IRL friends, I actually forgot to update this one, but ironically my team has the exact same record in both leagues, lol.

I'm hearing a lot of people remarking about the Packers defense and how its terrible...and the their defensive coordinator is...outdated?

Is the Packer defense bad?

Is their defensive coordinator outdated? If so, why? If not, why are people saying that?

Also, think of this offense:

A QB, a fullback or two, and the rest lineman forming a human wall for play after play. It'll be kinda like pre forward pass rules again! How fun!

And for shits and giggles the fullback, or maybe a TE can get a pass from time to time.

Think of it...

I think Green Bay's problems emanate from the QB position and a lack of Aaron Rogers. Nothing more, nothing less. When he gets back, turnaround should commence. And considering both the Lions and the Bears lost, there's no time like the present to stage a comeback.

Well, lets hope that the packers lose to the Lions. I have no ill will towards the Packers...I just like the Lions.

What do you think of the mostly lineman offense idea?

Yeah, a friend of mine is from Detroit, and since they're not in the same division as New Orleans, I generally pull for them. Plus, Goodell hates them and that's a plus in my book.

And I think it's a cool idea, and could probably work for a game or two. I think eventually you'd have to spread it out though. The NFL is built on unpredictability, and gimmicky offenses only last as long as teams aren't prepared and haven't game planned for them.

The best teams can run, QB run, pass, short pass, long pass, etc., all at once and are unpredictable as to which they'll do, sometimes even changing it up on the fly. If you can't do that, you're not likely to win for long or consistently in the NFL.

Fair enough. Load up on lineman and big tight ends with a sprinkling of running backs and wide receivers (like 2).

For defense we could bring back the ol 7-2-2 for a few plays every now and then!

Think of the fun...

Don't think I'd ever thought I'd settle on one favourite player, but I have: Anquan Boldin. Best WR in the entire league, hands down.

I think Megatron would like a word. And even though he's a TE, Jimmy Graham would like one too.

Let 'em talk! None of them can receive catches through defenders like Boldin can. And Boldin can suffer some serious punishment before being dragged to the ground. And I should also point out that this is partly opinion, too, there's a spark with Boldin that I just don't see with the others.

I make my conclusion based on his ability to catch the ball. He grabs balls that would be impossible even for your average veteran. He's outstripped by others in terms of stats, but Boldin is a game-winning investment.

And Gronkowski as well.

Aaron fucking caught it.
