It is ironic coming from a book worshiping a rage filled, genocidal, homophobic, misogynistic desert god who kills 2,038,344 people throughout the course of the story.

Only 50%? I'd put the number closer to between 60% and 70%.

Abortion is very very bad. Watch this video: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7y2KsU_dhw ... y2KsU_dhwI

Also, Gay Marriage is bad.

My point was that Jesus wouldn't support capital punishment. John 8:7, too. The "kill the enemies of the Jews" bit is mostly in the OT, although Revelation may have more killing. I really dislike Revelation though, and think it shouldn't be included.

Jesus probably wouldn't, but what about God, especially from the Old Testament?

mea culpa. i was called away. how is this?
matthew 18:
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

i think the idea that Jesus was just all peace and love is a little wrong. just like whipping shop keepers and money changers. (he took the time out to BRAID his own whip instead of buying or borrowing one.)

i thing christians are wrong if they think that "love thy neighbor as thyself and forgive those who persecute you" applied to civil governance or would have been construed to apply to law and justice.

a newborn baby is purely innocent, neither capable nor guilty of harming anyone. if your belief system equates a fetus with an infant, and you believe that a murderer has forfieted their right to life by virtue of initiating violence, then i do not see it strange that some are pro life and pro death penalty. there is, after all, a MORAL difference between an infant and a serial killer.

I hate to be that guy, but it's neither nor. Your second sentence says neither or. It's also a fragment sentence, along with your last sentence. A full sentence must contain at least one independent clause which must contain both a subject and a verb.

Well, there's always the possibility he was an alien... although it's extremely unlikely that an alien race would resemble humans or even be humanoid.
