Florida needs to move that State Capital from that Northern rural location not far from Georgia to Central Florida.

This is a map which shows Southern English. When it comes to Florida, it seems to be found in the Northern Part of the State which is also the location of the State Capital

I would think that non-green area which makes up most of Florida would consists of Northern English, Caribbean Spanish and French Creole. :lol:


That map seems kind of simplistic. There's at least one regional dialect (Appalachian) that's being ignored.

Florida: banning computers and smartphones?

In what has to be a very huge legislative mistake, the governor of Florida has passed a bill that basically bans computers and smartphones. The original bill was supposed to help crack down on internet cafes to go after illegal gambling. However, the people who wrote the bill worded it too broadly apparently, and no one read it until after it was passed apparently.

A Miami law firm that works with famous constitutional lawyer Alan Dershowitz has said that the law is unconstitutional and passed "in a frenzy fueled by distorted judgment in the wake of a scandal that included the Lieutenant Governor’s resignation."
