You're thinking of communism. Socialism is when the government seizes the methods of production in order to give control over to the workers.

Actually, that's still Socialism. Communism, other than implementing Socialism, also advocates for a classless society.

Wrong. Communism is when you remove the state, you remove classes, and you remove currencies while instituting workplace democracy. It is a type of socialism. Socialism in general just means there is workplace democracy. It can either be privatized or state-controlled, it doesn't matter.

I'd give it another one to three administrations before that becomes a real possibility, but, thanks to both Obama and Bush 43, it's looking like the door is certainly opening to that now.

So I'm assuming the 7th bombing Jakarta is gonna be a thing in four administrations,

The President doesn't want to work with Republicans either. All he wants is for the Democrats to win back the house and as of right they have no chance and the democrats are actually going to lose some seats. And the is a great chance that the Democrats will lose the senate, too.

Also, Harry Reid is allowing for anything to get down in the Senate.

Barack Obama would be considered Center-Right in most countries. Only in America could Obama be considered both a Communist and a Nazi by a significant segment of the population.

My personal opinion is that Obama is better than George W. Bush & that he means well. Neither is a ringing endorsement of the man.

In all honesty, it is too soon to tell, but as it stands I've generally liked him.

Obama is a moderate Democrat, who would have liked to have done more domestically but did not anticipate how obstructionist the Republicans would be, and how changing the culture of washington is really beyond his control. Although it is not perfect, his healthcare reform is one of the largest progressive victories since the great society. Most of the rest of his domestic agenda has stalled out, but there is still time left, and it's not really his fault anyway.

I'm wasn't a big fan of his original gun control proposal, but the compromise version(which is essentially just background checks) is much more appealing thought it unfortunately won't get anywhere. He is perhaps a bit more hawkish than I would like, but my main concern was the time it took him to get us out of Iraq, however the intervention in Libya as well as his continued use of drones didn't bother me very much.I'm also glad he came out in support of Gay marriage.

I wish he'd do more about climate change, but again I think congress is to blame for inaction on this.

I'm not going to pretend he's perfect, but anyone who says he's the same as Bush hasn't been paying attention.

The democratic party will get a majority in the house and senate. They will also win the presidency.

Reasons:
1) There is a tear in the republican party that would cause the democrats to win the presidency,
2) The republican party is pissing of the people that they need to win votes, and
3) More people are becoming democrats than republicans.

Out of interest, how?

Obama surrounded himself with conservative advisors— many from previous administrations, and an unprecedented number from the Trilateral Commission. These advisors include the articects of the economic collapse. He also appointed a former Monsanto executive as Senior Advisor to the FDA. He extended Bush tax cuts, presided over a spiralling rich-poor gap, and sacrificed further American jobs with free trade deals after appearing skeptical of FTDs during the 2008 elections. He expanded Bush defence spending, droned civilians, failed to close Guantanamo, supported the NDAA which effectively legalises martial law, premited key provisions of the Patriot Act if remain in place, allowed increased drilling even after the BP oil spill, and adopted a soft-touch position towards the banks considerably rightward of European Conservative leaders.
2008 presidential candidate Obama appeared to champion universal health care, however his first choice for Secretary of Health was aman who had spent years lobbying on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry against that very concept. In 2012 the President made references to economic justice, while appointing a former Citigroup executive as his new chief of staff.
And don't forget his offers to cut social security and privatize the TVA.

Edit: Add NSA spying, refusal to acknowledge Maduro's victory in Venzuela's presidential elections, and support for the military takeover in Honduras. As well as college loan interest rates doubling and his failure to support same sex marriage throughout his first term.

Barack Obama is perhaps the weakest President we've had since the 19th century. He has accomplished almost nothing except for countless scandals (Guns Walking, Benghazi, IRS, Media Probe, NSA, Solyndra) and ObamaCare, which we now know will significantly increase the cost of healthcare for all but the poorest Americans. His Foreign policy is pathetic and unprincipled. He has spent more and cost more than any other President in history. I can't remember the last time he has mentioned addressing unemployment. He was reelected without running on an agenda and now, halfway through his second term, he is already a lame duck with no hope of regaining enough political capital in Washington to accomplish anything beyond immigration reform. He is betting his presidency on winning the house in 2014 and he will lose.
