Japanese and Korean are in different language families. Finnish is in a different language family than the other Nordic languages (they are Indo-European and Finnish is an isolate or possibly related to Hungarian). Turkish and Farsi aren't Semitic languages.
Interestingly, Romanian is a Romance language so it is more closely related to French/Spanish/Italian/Portugese than it is to Russian (which is a Slavic language).
