I notice in your sig it says "Pro: Gay-rights."

Are you aware all the countries with legalized same-sex marriage are democracies, and not one non-democratic country has same-sex marriage legalized?

sheep

Stop that.
Besides, Franco was a good leader!

How?
I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

My bone with democracy is that, sooner or later, they all seem to start resembling something like the current US Congress. Sometimes you just need to cut through the crap. The Athenian demos was infamously brazen; look what they did towards the end of the Peloponnesian War, when they executed their best leaders.

I believe the best kind of leadership would be that like the Roman Republic, which gives you the option to elect a dictator but keeps a senate. Well, I think the perfect state would have to be Lacedaemon, but not everybody could strive for such an ideal, so I choose moderation in this case and go with the Roman Republic.
Lord Justice Clerk of the Classical Royalist Party, NSG Senate. Hail, Companion!

Do notice how dictatorships are as a rule corrupt and thus inefficient, in sharp contrast to how the most democratic countries are the least corrupt.

Empirical evidence?

Just look at the US Congress today... look at any democratic presidential system or parliamentary system. They are all pathetically inefficient and incompetent. If not gridlocked in pointless debates they are completely constrained by the majority who are mediocre and idiots...

It's completely unacceptable. At least the leaders of old had or at least strove for nobility, valor, and courage. Now all we have are corporate-backed bootlicking idiots in office with zero charisma or capability constantly enslaved by the mediocrity's self-destructive wishes... compelled to constantly play a game where they try to win the next election and beat their opponents with points rather than get down to the glorious business of state-building.

Tell me brother, what good is democracy is all it does is promote, glorify, and perpetuate mediocrity and incompetence in the name of ''representation''? The majority of people don't deserve a voice in government let alone a chance to run it...

You have no choice in democracy BUT to do stupid things.

If you make a stupid decision that everyone else like, it gets done.

If you want to do something smart... it will never get done because the majority of people are incompetent and will vote against you.

What you have is the illusion of choice in democracy. You are always controlled by a majority of mediocre to idiotic people and you can't break out... not until you choose a qualified person to lead the nation and give him the power to oppose the incompetent majority.

Like I said, in a democratic society you have the right to choose. You also have the right to freedom of speech, so you get to expose government fuck ups and eventually create change. In a fascist state, you get a group of men trying to decide what's best for the nation, you don't have a choice and in the end its you who gets fucked when they fail.

Oh but it does count since fascism is inherently dictatorial, much more so than all of those non-fascist dictatorships. Empirical evidence is the more dictatorial a country is, the higher the corruption is. Is there some magical rule I'm not aware of that makes fascism exempt to that?

How about a historical example of the extreme corruption in fascist regimes:

http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1755&dat=19440613&id=Na4qAAAAIBAJ&sjid=k2QEAAAAIBAJ&pg=6173,4912666

Or the fourteen defining characteristics of fascism scholars tend to agree upon:

http://rense.com/general37/fascism.htm

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

Sounds exactly like Nazi Germany, doesn't it? But I expect you're going to keep saying "NUH UH FASCISM IS COOL!"

Yeah, fuck that, totalitarian assholes only want power for the sake of power, not for some fancy shmancy noble cause or valor or fucking courage, and they were in fact fucking corporate backed bootlicking idiots, because those companies actually had a gain in supporting stupid fucking idiots with ideologies that could give them power in return.

I agree that people like you don't derserve a voice in goverment.

The majority are enslaved, and are the loyal tralls of The Materialistic enslavement that Democracy puts in place. Why would you want these incompetent slaves voting for you, voting in their slaves, and punishing you with their pure and utter incompetence? A leader born lead the weak so they are not misguided by the slavers of Materialism.

1. Straw man
2. I often find that those who believe in an authoritarian system often believe that they themselves will be the leaders of this system. It's quite funny really.
3. You often forget that the ruling elite can be just as stupid as anyone else.
