Saying its false is more opinion than fact, don't you think? There is no solid evidence that, yes it's real or, no it's not.

You can examine various factors as well as historical evidence to come to the conclusion that it is basically false. True, you can't say with absolute certainty, but that goes for everything.

So, in the end, everyone just has to make their own opinion on every religion?

There's no reason you have to assume ANY of the stories are at all meaningful.

Objectively, that's probably the most logical default - don't even worry about the possibility that any of them might be true until they start presenting evidence equal to the scale of the claims they make.

There's something that saddens me about the fact that you believe in your religion (partially) because you wish to escape damnation.
