Yes, black people then and now are easily controlled. Even in Africa where we have left them to govern themselves, they seem to lack the capability to create successful countries and communities. Look at Detriot, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), the new South-Africa, Angola, Somalia, and I can go on and on. The only successful African states were Gaddafi's Libya, Morocco, Algeria (sort of), Tunisia, and formerly Egypt. Specifically, quotas were instituted in the early 1900s on immigrants coming from southern and eastern Europe (Poles, Italians, Jews, etc) because those immigrants were generally poorer, Catholic/Eastern Orthodox/Jewish, didn't speak English, and were uneducated.

The kinds of whites that "white pride" celebrates are not them, but the western and northern Europeans (England, France, Spain, Germany, etc) who were middle class, Protestant, spoke at least some English, and were educated.

Hell, at least one American Nazi Party group gave a shot at recruiting gays a few years back. Definitions of acceptability shift constantly, even in those groups that claim to hold to tradition the most strongly.

I'm proud of my accomplishments in school and my job because those are both things that I had to work hard for. Pride should come from ability and result.

If women were superior to men legally then we'd come down to the same problem, which is gender inequality. You know, the whole problem we were trying to solve in the first place.

I'm not denying that I am all aspects that make me (how I look, my heritage, etc), I just don't see a point in taking pride in things that are out of my control.

I am forced to avoid saying the word African, nigger (a term I have used since I was little), negroid, and so much more, while black men (especially) can harass me and call me all sorts of things. I am tired of white people wanting to act black (wiggers) and it seems like so many people want to act and be black, they act like they are superior to white people. I always get a bunch of rude black guys talking to me when I go to certain places in public, and when I say I am gay, they are all like "nigger this, nigger that, this chick is a gay ass dyke, she ain't ever had a real boy, nigger you don't know what the fuck ya talking about you need black dick, etc." it has happened like five times. I just don't enjoy that mentality, and it seems like the majority of the younger generations of black people are like that, I have never been talked to like that by anyone else (maybe coincidence).

On the flip side, I know many respectable and likable older black men and women (in their 30's and 40's) who I am around on a daily basis, so i realize it is not their whole race. It is just the younger people that make me angry most times, I want to ship them off to Africa and see how it feels to be a "proud nigger/African".

I'm saying separating your achievements and viewing them in isolation from things you don't choose about yourself is completely retarded because who you are influences that.. I feel like you're misdirecting your hate of misogynists and black supremacists at the black race as a whole, which is wrong. I understand your issues with a lot of the younger black generation who are growing up with an air of superiority, but that is no reason to proclaim that you are being forced to bow before the black race as a whole.

As for white people wanting to act black, it's simply a reversal of the days when black people wanted to act white. You always get that. A lot of my Asian friends act black, and I have black friends who, at times, will act Asian. I have white friends who pull off the whole "fresh off the boat" Asian stereotype very well at times. It's all part of the intermingling of cultures and surely you can't be against that?
