Another reason why purely racial pride is a bad thing. Any sort of racial pride can be used to manipulate people.

There was still the problem of the racist signs in some of the manifestations, though. Granted, I don't think that all the Tea Partiers are racist, but I fear that the movement offers a fertile bed for such type of people.
