Jews are in the minority in the US, about 1.7%. They have their own sites dedicated to their faith and worship (synagogues) and there's quite a few non-Jewish people supporting their right to religious freedom. These non-Jewish people are allowed to enter synagogues, speak to rabbis, read Jewish texts etc.

Well exactly, try to properly educate them and show them as many positive examples. Try not to be so negative or apathetic that you let your image be dirtied by a few bad apples. Separate yourselves from sad bad seeds and simply attempt to promote your own image of positivity. This goes for all people, all groups really. Misunderstanding is the main problem, in fact I think it's the largest societal problem we face. Misunderstanding and lack of understanding because no one is truly able to understand the breadth and effect of their actions and vice versa.

If you go about it in a naive way, yes. Working towards equality is not, itself, a terrible goal. On the contrary, it's quite just and noble. However, it only works if you exist within the realm of reality and work towards it with effective methods that are likely to actually yield beneficial results.

Would you fight for equality for bearded people? Seems silly, but bearded people are discriminated against in workplaces. People tend to not like those who are unkempt. Those with long beards are viewed as lazy and what have you. In other words, they're not the person you'd see being employable.

But it's not like they're getting beaten up either (I mean, you wouldn't want to approach a long bearded guy to beat them up would you?). So they're not exactly in dire need of equal rights either.
