I think at least the public school systems should be required to teach sex ed. You can't rely on parents to teach their kids these things although they very well may, there are too many young people running around getting knocked up and spreading AIDS and whatever.

Kids these days are pretty knowledgable about sex already, since mose probably learn more from their friends then anything.

My school really could have done a better job. And by my school, I mean my elementary school. Between the internet and my friend's hand-me-down Hustler magazines, everyone knew everything before entering middle school. In middle school, we enjoyed what became known as 'the Guilt Trip' courtesy of some random acting troupe. There was no high-school sex education.
