Mine is weird. It leans to the left and I hardly lift my pen. Kind of a mix between cursive and print.

I've similar. Although for my example in this thread I tried to force myself to write in cursive. :P

I blame the Finnish school system. My teachers never told me my handwriting looks like shit, and here I am now, graduated and still unable to write like a normal person.

Not sure if bad or good.

I'm the same. I've had it described as 'extremely effeminate'. I think that's probably a good thing.

I'm male myself by the way, in case you assumed otherwise.

One can hope. I'd like to be able to draw something other than stickmen.

I'm not so sure that your dysgraphia is responsible for the lack of drawing skills... a lot of people aren't able to draw beyond stickmen while being able to write. That said, you can get some pretty mean stick-people pictures.

Ah... this may be the problem... drawing is, to my mind, quite different to writing but, then, I rarely draw stick figures which are, when you think about it little more than giant Ks and Os.

May I suggest grabbing a pen and paper and just moving the pen around without any sense to control. If that hurts I would change my mind re: drawing but I am more familiar with dysgraphia affecting handwriting than drawing (but I'm not an expert so that's almost certainly my limited experience rather than any other fact).

My arts so bad I even failed art and that's something.

Art is very easy to fail in my experience. Out of roughly two hundred people (my estimate) only ten got the second best mark and four the top for a reason. (It was obersvational drawing and lacked the more academic component of normal art.)

My handwriting is a bit squiggly. When I take my time, my writing is quite neat, but I don't have time for that.

When I rush, my handwriting is almost hard to see, but the teachers I had were able to understand, or "decode" it.

Trust me when I say it affects drawing. I've lived with it my entire life. I've been under test conditions for dozens of hours. I've met with half a dozen specialists. I know the ins and outs of my disability.

I write like a doctor. :o Oh wait...

I have to write a lot of stuff, aside from having to type a lot of stuff. And so my handwriting, and even my signature, mutates from bad to worst as time progresses. Other people have a difficult time reading them. Even I sometimes have a difficult time reading them. Nobody died yet from my bad handwriting, thank goodness. :p

My handwriting has always been pretty awful because of dysgraphia. I even had to go to out of class lessons in elementary school (where I was first "diagnosed") and was allowed to type the 8th grade state writing test. Also had extra time for the SAT writing portion.

If I ever needed to, I could get my university's disability office to give me an exception to use a laptop and/or voice recorded in class, but I haven't had any problems with any professors thus far.

If I write too quickly, letters end up backwards or crooked, and I end up with pain in my wrist from writing too long. I've always thought dysgraphia was a strange thing, since it doesn't affect my ability to do most anything else, including type fairly quickly compared to the average person.

I can't write for more than 10 words without my letters going from ridiculously huge and wavy to super-tiny and curving sideways down the paper.. Apparently the use of hyphens to complete a word on the next line down evades me.
