That's my handwriting (select pages from last year's history books and it's copying not free form) and I invite you to show off yours. However, I feel we need more of a discussion point so I'm going to pick two. Firstly, the question of boy and girl handwriting and, secondly, also the future of handwriting as a thing.
As I wrote in the other thread one of my teachers (I'm willing to bet Year Eleven English but last year me was not specific) told me that I've got male handwriting and earlier this year (in history, what else?) I heard a guy say that he has girl handwriting. Obviously that tells you that it's not a hard and fast rule but I think, generally, that one can get a reasonable idea of whether the author is male or female judging by the handwriting.
With regards to the other point. Personally I think that handwriting will always have a place. To my mind doing stuff by hand sticks around in your memory longer but, also, signatures are not something that I can see a need to go away for. Were handwriting to disappear I think it would be a crying shame although I have no idea why we still had handwriting as a "subject" until at least Year Six and maybe Year Seven. (I got to stop handwriting in Year Six though on account of excelling at it although, it looked very different seven years ago, as one would expect.)
