instead, you fall back on the Republican tradition of rigging the system so the people can't do anything about the bill. And they're the ones complaining about government intrusion and overreach.

So I'll say it again -- THIS IS NOT AN ABORTION THREAD.

But anyway, even as an anti-abortionist, I must acknowledge this woman's resolve. It isn't common these days for a person, especially a politician to stick to their guns. She maybe my ideological enemy, but the woman has balls, the woman has balls.
I still hate filibusters though, even when people I like do it. They're a waste of time.

It's good to know that you're smart enough to say snarky things. I would hardly call people misogynists just because they think lives are worth protecting. Texas Republicans are constantly protecting freedom and democracy against Davis and her multiculturalist, identity politicking ilk.

We already have a process for getting rid of unconstitutional bills that unlawfully hinder people's rights. You take it to court. The Supreme Court, if necessary. Filibusters are a way of abusing the system and exploiting loopholes. It doesn't matter which side is going it - it's ridiculous.

What's ridiculous, is describing part of the system as an abuse of the system.
