Well I'm not here to argue, just to make a statement. I was born into a Christian family, not very religious but we try to go to Chuch every Sunday(still dont get how it helps) As for the Bible, it is just a book made by people who see stuff they don't understand and make assumptions.

Don't hate people 2000 years ago for getting stuff wrong, they did the best they could.

What makes sense to you is not reality.

I see that you can stand people who don't think like you.

I think that's a problem with any one worth their salt on NSG.

Especially when the people they disagree with have stupid opinions and beliefs.

Yes, I can deal with people not thinking like me. Now can you stop the derailment and either continue talking about the subject at hand or concede?

Why would I concede, I have no reason to. I already said everything I need to, that I believe in both.

That's because they are stupid, and his aren't.
I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

Maybe you don't understand that NSG is a debate forum. If your only evidence for your claim is "Well, I believe it" then this isn't the forum for you.

And here we go with the "what you believe in is stupid because its not what I believe in" argument. Now I don't want to go there.

My beliefs are backed in two centuries of scientific evidence. They are not stupid.

The thing is, Darwin's work has been either refined or superseded by on-going work. You can't say that about the holy texts, in fact, the fact that they are the same century after century is a prime part of the creationist agenda. Haven't you heard "Science keeps changing, people thought the world was flat but the Bible is eternal, which makes more sense?"

I understand that it is a debate forum. But I guess I'm not in the mood for arguing. I just wanted to answer the OP question, which is what you believe, and I answered it.

Pantheism does not favor creationism in its philosophy, and is very much compatible with evolution. What's the problem?

Why do people do that "Please don't flame me" and "Braces for lynching" thing? We're really not that bad, are we?

No, I'm just not sure pantheism falls in this debate. I mean, I believe evolution to be logical, and most creationist religions absurd, however I also believe that, at the same time, there's some non-sentient force that made the universe... Happen, I guess.
