As has been said prior, it's pretty good P.R. Makes Navy leadership look more approachable and open. A sense of humor certainly helps.

I kind of want to try Admiral of the Navy Crunch. It's a cereal so exclusive, only one box was ever made. They're supposed to stay crunchy in milk, but given the age of the cereal it's probably Gooey Dewey by now.

I don't think it took any inordinate amount of time to answer the question. Really, it's probably a more efficient use of their time than building some piece of equipment we don't need, or using the piece of equipment we don't need on a people we shouldn't bother with attacking.
