I think they are bad for children. I mean half the time its about two people arguing over something stupid .I also thinks that Disney movies today suck.

The Amanda Show. It was on back about 10 years ago.

The earliest Disney I remember watching was That's So Raven, Sister Sister, and Boy Meets World....I don't think that last one is Disney actually but I loved that show.

The best part of Disney movies are the villain songs. You could call that the biggest problem right there. I remember back when I watched the Lion King religiously when I was little, as much as I loved the super-happy schpiel from Timon and Pumba, I remember feeling much more excited when Scar sang Be Prepared. I can imagine a lot of kids who payed more attention to the villain songs will end up doing a lot of damage to those who modeled the Disney Princesses or the other happy BS.

As far as Miley Cyrus, while I don't exactly keep up with celebrity gossip, so far all I've heard about her is stuff like "she likes dressing sexily," "she may smoke pot," and "she may be on the outs with her boyfriend." Which all kinda sounds like, "she is a 20-year-old." :p

photos of her doing coke, seriously drunk, pantiless, and what not.

and i agree about amanda, though i tend to lean towards breakdown, i loved her in hairspray.

Okay, doing coke is pretty unfortunate, I'll definitely give you that. I hope she stays away from that shit.

(Also, having just watched the supposedly scandalous Miley Cyrus music video...it's a music video. It's pretty DUMB, and the song is god-awful, but I'm not exactly horrified by 20-year-old pop stars making music videos where they dance, wear skimpy clothing, writhe around sexily, and grope attractive dancers, because that's roughly every shitty pop video ever. :p )

The only Disney Villian I enjoyed was Lot-so from Toy Story 3. That was a clever, well-crafted villain from any Disney film I've ever seen. It is one of the fewest Disney Films that teaches kids a good message that you can't trust someone that's too good to be true.

I seem to recall that she did a photoshoot a few years ago in which her bare back was visible, and people absolutely flipped their shit. I guess people are having trouble with the whole thing where Miley Cyrus isn't a child star any more.

The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.
