Well, I'm not happy after the Russian team lost to Northern Ireland. Especially since a win would've put the Russian team ahead of Portugal in the World Cup qualifiers.

Well we're watching Stoke, which is never a good thing. Looking much more forward to the Man U vs. Swansea game.

And Toure looks solid, a good addition for Liverpool especially with him being a free transfer.

Both goalies were vital for there teams today. This game wouldn't had been even close if it wasn't for Begovi's heroics. I would if he'll even be at Stoke when we hit the January transfer window if Stoke is facing relegation.

And while Mignolet made two great saves, the pk by Walters was rather poor and predictable.

Ugh...what a game...Ross McCormack scored a peach of a goal though...Poleon...although still young and showing some of that on the pitch could be a hell of a player for us.

Not impressed with the ref...missing a clear penalty.

Good derby match...blood included

As a fellow referee, I develop a feeling of sympathy when a ref misses a crucial call as in some instances its rather difficult to make a call.

However though, with goal-line technology, two ARs and a fourth official its a lot easier to monitor the field then lets say if you're a one-man crew relying on your own insticts.

I think that was nerves more than anything else. First competitive game in front of the Kop? That's going to put the shits up anyone.
