That's in a way a problem. I usually default to using he if I can't tell if the poster is male or female... Call it sexist, but to be honest, I find it less offensive than "it". Maybe I should just get around using he/she all the time unless explicitly stated...

A good alternative is stating the nations name. It's what I do sometimes, anyway.

If I don't know someone's gender I usually avoid using pronouns or put he/she.

A good alternative is stating the user's nation name. It's what I do sometimes, anyway.
