I've never been to TET, and I'm not naive. I'm making this observation from experience. NS isn't nearly as bad as everyone claims it is, and it isn't full of hateful twats who insult you at the drop of a hat. The world doesn't match your cynicism.

Well, we have moderators that actually, you know, moderate. For being a team of volunteers, they're doing an awesome job so far. And I'm not saying this to "kiss up to them" or anything, it's from experience over a variety of internet forum communities.
