That's debatable. Wikipedia has its flaws yes and some articles are certainly more flawed than others (see the Xerographica Wikipedia Saga, basically it was strongly suspected that Xerographica was writing the articles he was linking to) but that does not mean that you can reject arguments that Wikipedia is used to support out of hand.

Pretend Poster A says, "bell hooks is not a feminist." It is perfectly fine for Poster B to link to Wikipedia to disagree with Poster A's idea. In fact, that's better than Poster C saying "No, you're wrong, lol MRA" or Poster D saysing "You're awful at this".

The problem is that there are lots of Poster As and they just meet varieties of Posters C and D. Poster B is practically a myth, and Poster B who uses is a better source than Wikipedia is even more mythical.
