To be fair... They are. But they're just one part of the beauty of women.

I just hope that's not something that comes back to bite you in the ass. And I think you should care. If you sent a pic to someone perhaps it's because you trusted them and them sending them around is rather a breach of trust. How you don't see that as detrimental to you, Luveria, as the subject in the photo, is beyond me but I don't feel arsed enough to continue this.

Well, I do get that but, times do change. Shouldn't society do the same? I mean, keeping a child in the dark regarding sex is, IMO, detrimental to the child. It's not that one needs to be graphic, but if a child asks about sex, one should answer honestly, tailoring the answer, of course, to a manner that they can understand. That's my opinion, of course, and I'm not American.

No! No change! As soon as you start educating children about sex, they are going to make educated decisions. Is that what you want? A bunch of educated young people using knowledge to take responsibility for their lives as they become adults?

I hope you don't have kids. They'll be sluts.

I like talking about sex. I've joked about being perverted here on these forums. No one seems to care that much. I'm a huge advocate for medically accurate sex education that actually teaches kids about birth control and abortion and consent and all of that.

And I don't want to go feminazi and start ranting on how sexist the costumes in question are.

Rocopurr wrote:Look, guys, look! It's another gender related thread because there weren't enough already. You know that even if you hate it you'll still post.

To your guy's luck, however, this isn't a 'what is your gender' thread. This is about how NS has a mainly male population. I'm sure you've all seen the polls and threads that show that NS is a bit of a sausage fest (such as this). Some of you may think nothing of this, but I've heard others say they want more non-male members on NS.

So, what do you think about NS's mainly male population? Do you wish there were more people who identified as other genders? If so, how do you think we can get more females, androgynes, etc. to join?

I personally don't have a problem with it but would still be happy to see more non-males. I just feel it might make things more interesting if it was more diverse. To get more non-males on NS I say we either clone everyone who doesn't identify as male here or find a way to advertise NS to to other genders.

I think the truth is that a lot of females have simply never heard of this site, even females who fit into some of the same sub-cultures as the males here. This is probably due to advertising or something. Also, it is true that many females simply have less interest in some of the things we males do (politics being one). However, it would be nice to see more females around. I've used this site on and off for about 5 years, give or take, and a lot of debates have been had. Unfortunately, I feel that men are less likely to "tone it down" than females, and in a lot of debates, that is really needed. So more girls would certainly help out. As per those who do not associate themselves with a gender or are transgendered, I have met some on here I believe. I can't say I totally agree with their view on their gender, but they have their freedom of belief. That said, I don't think they have made a large difference in the debate field, and I can't say I oppose having more of them, I just can't say how that would affect the site and it's enjoyability.

Because perhaps some of us would rather this forum weren't a haven for pedophiles and trolls?

Especially those of us who would be his potential victims. I'm going to be perfectly fucking honest.

The minute someone advocates child rape, I'm fucking out of there. Same with child porn laws, same with lowering the age of consent to ten or twelve or whatever the fuck it was.

So yeah, actually. Thank you, NS Mod team, for stamping your seal of approval on blatant trolling.

So being a pedophile instantly = supporting child rape. Being a pedophile = makes you evil, and not just on the same level is a schizophrenic? No, fuck that noise. You're misattributing pedophilia with child molestation. While they are SOMEWHAT similar, they are not the same thing. One is thought, one is action. Learn the difference.

What do you think of NS's mainly male population?

25% silly little boys trying to assert their independence from mummy by calling women "hos" etc,in a feeble attempt to impress others of their ilk with their "manliness". Mostly tolerated and pitied as others know that if one of these actually met a real life "ho" they would make an embarrassing spurt in their pants in 30 seconds flat.

25% living in a fantasy world where action films are real and ardently wishing that feminism never happened because they really would like to go off and do manly things like war or shooting tiny unarmed furry animals, but can't because they are unable to find any clean socks in their bachelor pad and are terrified of developing trench foot without them.

It's not just your perception. Gender polls a few years ago put NSG at about 1/3 female. Now it's more like 1/8th. That's a pretty massive decrease. As I said in the last thread where this came up, I feel like any site that has such a stark gender imbalance needs to take a serious look at why that's happening, especially when it used to be significantly more reasonable only a few years earlier.

I was part of another forum once (still am, just really inactive, annual poster type of thing) and it was active enough, then there were OOC boards and they were really active and everything else was dying and then, eventually, it just burnt out.

It didn't help that some of the leaders would lock threads that existed for the purpose of RP at random times and so, for my specific sub-section particularly, all that was active was the OOC Board. In fact, come to think of it "they're really active" probably wasn't a great reason to make people leaders.

Hey, I've learned quite a bit with our recent number of feminism threads. Plus I think the exposure of a more "relevant" topic is better for the people of this forum then constantly hearing an-caps whine.

I'm not sure what happened. I hardly ever used to post in feminism threads and now they're basically all I post in. I think it's because there are now many more feminism threads and fewer threads on, say, the Falklands.

Vitaphone Racing wrote:

Self-applauding posters with the mentality of thirteen-year-olds who resort to ad-homs and claim that their opponents are butch lesbians, dykes in need of some good sex and/or raping, closet trans*, whores, sluts, harlots, and feminazis is tiring, and it's enough to wear anyone down.

To be honest, as abhorrent some twats who come here really are, I think NSG would be better off by just not even bothering to tell them that they're wrong. If people don't get responses, they leave.

Well, the actual quality of the discussion on feminism threads is really quite terrible. Hardly anyone ever talks about the topic. They all reach a point where the thread is about some incident that happened in it, in another thread or a combination of that and people just categorically rejecting any alternative viewpoints and arguing for why they are justified in not actually addressing disagreeable viewpoints.

I swear they never used to be like that but, then, I was made the centre of one thread and since then my view of the posters in those threads has gone way down and my opinion of the habits has too. There need to be more Smashes.

I think it's also that the former posters of TET are no longer there, with a few exceptions and the character of the new posters is different to the one of TET on its inception. TET used to be fun, then it turned into a pity fest and these days... I don't fucking know what's up.
