God didn't create suffering. We did. Suffering exists because Sin exists. Earth is not paradise. Heaven is paradise, where no suffering exists, and consequently, no sin exists.

Y'know, somewhere in the endless depths of space, there's a planet orbiting at the right distance from a star to have liquid water. Life has probably been born there, and survival of the fittest is pretty limiting to what can arise as the dominant species. So the aliens are probably largely similar to humans.
