My thoughts... my thoughts are that you are obviously an overly religious and you think that it is easy to give up a belief your parents told you you would burn in hell for doing so. Atheism is not a cult it is the lack of one, it is the lack of religion, it is the lack of blind faith, and it is a label given to skeptics like myself that don't want to put everything they believe in on some guy from a book written by some goat herder hundreds of years ago. We are not converting people, we are helping people live happily without god. Atheism can be a hard thing to switch to if depending on your family life and where you live.

Overly religious? I don't support organized religion at all. Atheism is in the same boat.
