Fun Fact: In Canada, they started a simple consent education program using short commercials, magazine ads, and billboards about drinking, parties, and sex. Within a year, the rape report percentage involving parties, dropped 10%. Canada, you did something right. Congrats.

Pedophilia articles don't seem to get the same amount of rape culture bullshit that rape articles concerning adult or teenage victims do.

Reformation. America is too concerned with "revenge" against criminals. That doesn't help anyone. We should be trying to reform our criminals, and that includes rapists, especially since a lot of them commit rape without even realizing it.

AKA almost never, the only time I've seen something like that said was by someone who was clearly a villain.

How about multiple new stations reporting on how holding someone accountable for rape isn't justified? Because that I can do. Just look up the coverage of the Stuebenville case. (And plenty of others)

I didnt post in this thread before, because I hate Feminism, I support gender roles, I support Roles in society in general.
However, I agree that there is a Rape Culture in our society.

Many years ago I was at a party...21 years ago to be precise.

Myself and my other friend (one of my best friends) were the two oldest guys there(17 and 18 respectively).
Everyone at this party I knew, all 15-17 years old, just smoking weed and drinking, hanging, playing music, chilling.
A particular girl was expected, it was my intention to bed her, and her intention to be bedded by me. To be clear this girl was a slut, an absolute slut, self professed fuck machine. She didnt want a boy friend, she didnt want your number, she didnt love you, and that was that- and in general we respected that, her issue was simple "If guys can do it, why cant I?" fair dues.

She arrived, and as the night went she continued to drink with me and my best friend, (she weighed like 100 lbs) and as such, she was not remotely in our "Weight Class", but she was a partier and and fuck yeah!

So I go outside to help a friend who is all twisted up over a girlfriend leaving him, the girl I was supposed bed is however ready to fuck, so, not being a douche, I decline the ass to be a good friend.

The girl, being who she is, picks a guy, takes him down stairs, and fucks him silly.
Of ourse all the guys at the party are shocked that turned down ass, but you gotta do what you gotta do(I did fight the kid the next day, on principle), however as the night went on she continued to drink with us(me and my best friend) until finally she was too drunk to stand.

We tucked her in and continued to drink.

Later on I was joking with the guy I was helping about how he cost me some ass(offensive term, fuck you i was 17), then suddenly one of the guys in back(another friend of mine, or I thought so) said these words;

"Fuck it, she is passed out...we can all fuck her"

I laughed, my best friend laughed, everyone laughed.

Then people started getting up.

I looked at my best friend, he looked at me. It suddenly became clear that the two of us were the only guys not going to go rape this chick.
So, we had to stop everyone else...about 10 guys.

By virtue of our age, and the fact most of these kids suburban white kids, they didnt want to fight for their easy prey.

My friend and I spent the next few hours dragging drunken teen age boys up stairs as they would sneak past us to try and get to this chick.

I ended up sleeping with her so they couldnt get to her...literally sleeping.

These were football team members, comic book geeks, couple kids from a band I knew, good kids, A student, that kind of shit.

Me and my best friend, I sold acid, and he was homeless.

I knew all the kids at this party, and thought highly of all of them, they were all "Good kids", but the moment the chance to just flat rape this chick was presented, it was like a switch was thrown.

I have daughters now, and that night still scares the fuck out of me.
