No. I think I have pissed you off more than ever when I am not trying to.

If this thread was completely turned around where in this case " talk about how "theistic religion is delusional", I would get similar responses. I think I would unintentionally incite a negative reaction just the way you're behaving now.

Well I'm going to give you props for actually saying "science doesn't claim or aim to know absolute truth" because in my opinion, a significant population of atheist individuals behave in such a way.

So, you now know what goes on in "most" atheists heads? Science may not claim to be the absolute truth but don't mistake that for it not being the closest we can rationally get to the absolute truth, because it is.

I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

Good job, we don't believe in the divine or supernatural and Darwin spoke as a scientist and nothing more. Thank you for proving why your claims are bullshit.

For some reason, everyone ties the word prophet as an individual who had divine contact. Therefore, mainstream christianity. At a secular level, a prophet could be anyone who carries valuable information that people look up to. In this case, many atheists refer to Darwin as a back-up to their atheist ideals.
So when we listen to our doctors, we believe they are prophets? When we listen to teachers, they are prophets? Shit, people have listened to me before, I must be a prophet!

I don't see the "funny irony" where militant atheists try to get rid of people's faith in unsubstantial hocus-pocus, hoping to substitute it with actual facts instead.

Oh look, it's a sandwich. I believe that is a sandwich, I'll probably turn into a zealot because I'm convinced that's a sandwich.
