Ventura & stern for 2016 presidential run

Postby Gig em Aggies » Sat Jun 01, 2013 1:08 pm

I rofled across my bedroom floor when I read this. I mean we don't need a washed up wrestler and conspiracy wacko & stern running for Potus and Vpotus, they would be even worse then Obama is now.
So almighty NS community any thoughts?

Wasn't Ventura a rather popular Governor in Minnesota? Then again he was once a member of the *shudders* Reform Party.

Sure they can run...won't win of course. Could be the US version of the Monster Raving Loony Party...

He's not the same man he once was. The years of steroid abuse and concussions from his days as a professional wrestler have driven him off the deep end.

The media has already decided who will be in the Democratic and Republican primaries(Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden for the prior, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul for the latter).

It's only 2013...
I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

No this is not about the actual election it's just about the person who said he might run.

Considering how well they nailed it in 2008...

"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Yes. If he's in a debate, and the moderator asks him a question he doesn't like, he will body slam him. Why do you think we elected him in the first place?
