Quite typical with the Worker's Party.

From the videos I saw, they also seemed to be quite eager to engage the police.

Don't be deceived when our Revolution has finally been stamped out and they tell you things are better now even if there's no poverty to see, because the poverty's been hidden...even if you ever got more wages and could afford to buy more of these new and useless goods which these new industries foist on you, and even if it seems to you that "you never had so much" - that is only the slogan of those who have much more than you.

Check out the second link. Lots of protests like that in various places. There was one in where I live as well, even though it's a generally restful street. Never seen that much noise here before.

The people are waking up.

Hopefully something good will come out of this.
I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

I highly doubt it will.

Hopefully the Erdogan government won't turn it int the next Syria by doing something stupid like sending in troops to fire on the protesters.
