Republican People's Party (CHP) in Turkey. I'm also active in its youth wing.

The CHP firstly appeared as a resistance organization led by Ataturk against the Allied invasion of Turkish lands following the WW1. After winning the war it founded the independent Turkish Republic and pioneered the reform and modernization process in 1920s-30s. We advocate Kemalism, Social liberalism, Social democracy and Socialism. We are currently the second biggest party and the main opposition in the Turkish parliament. Izmir is considered the stronghold of our party, that we hold its municipality with a record vote as well as its 29 districts out of 30. (the missing one was lost with a very slight difference)

The six arrows on the logo of our party represent the six permanent principles of the Kemalist ideology which are;

Republicanism
Nationalism
Laicism/Secularism
Populism
Statism
Revolutionism

Aye. The Liberals in Canada, and I'll be a registered Democrat the instant I turn 18.

Funny, too. How I can work on campaigns that I can't even vote for.

Doesn't USA have a party that is both economically liberal (GOP) and social liberal (DEM)? (I assume thats what you're referring to with the secular progressive republican thing) A lot of nations tend to..

There might be; but then again there's a host of tiny parties that almost no one's ever heard of. There's a party for everything in the USA! But... GOP and DEM are the only big players, the little parties usually pick a side after some time.
Also, while I'm an economic liberal, I'm not a social liberal - I'm a meritocratic autocrat. (Before anyone pictures me a crazy redneck, I'm not a fascist - just dont like everyone telling us what to do.)

I was getting around to joining the youth wing of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party, who I mostly support, but... ugh, I feel like it's moot to join a youth wing of a party for two years only to leave the country afterward.

They're the country's oldest party, having been founded back in 1896, and support extensive welfare, a gradual transition to a democratic socialist society, workplace democracy, and the social democratic likes. Were banned under Soviet rule, and thus existed only in exile - returned to mainstream politics in Lithuania in 1989. In 2000, they merged with the Lithuanian Democratic Labor Party (formerly the Lithuanian Communist Party) to form the country's second-largest party which has mostly vied for control with the Homeland Union (conservatives) since then. Until quite recently, they were a depressing example of a Third Wayist party, probably even to the right of Tony Blair's New Labour, but this last election seems to have taken them to the left again.

I'm not a member of it, but I support currently Otzma Leyisrael, even though I'm more Right-wing than it. It is the most Right-Wing party in Israel.

Name: עוצמה לישראל (Otzma Leyisrael, in English "Power to Israel")
Founded: November 2012
Headquarters: Jerusalem
Ideology:
-Nationalism
-Anti-Arabism
-Neo-Zionism
-Hardalism
-Halakha
-Religious Zionism
-Revisionist Zionism
-Greater Israel

Political position:
The party itself was formed by two groups, the Kahanist group, and the Eldad group, while the Eldad group is Right-Wing, the Kahanist group is Far-Right.
