Slurs are used to deconstruct men and their confidence entirely to remove the aspect of self, and introduce the aspect of team. If slurs are too much for anyone regardless of religion, race or sexuality, then they should consider instead joining something that appeals to their sensitivites, unlike the army which exists to destroy anything which can distract from the task at hand, including individual pride and sensitivities. As far as boot camp goes, I would leave the expert opinions to the drill sergants, not the knee-jerk offence progressives or army primadonnas. You are not going to break down the 'self' without attacking the individual in some way, so protecting sensitivities is exactly opposite of the army staff way of thinking, which, as far as warfare goes, provides far more competence and safety on the field than any spesial interest group would be able to provide.
