If it is it might have been the only time it was appropriate to let a decision be made by my penis.

You do realize NSG is a debate forum, right?

OHMAGERD AGHHGHHG This makes me want to rip my hair out. When you are coming up with a question you can not just skip the whole investigation/experimentation phase, what you have is most certainly not a theory, you have a hypothetheory.

Didn't you just say a minute ago that it was wrong to undermine other people's opinions?

That isn't an opinion, he said it was a theory, you see, a theory is something that has been tested and proved in most cases to be true, an opinion is just some individual's opinion..sorry, the scientist in me tends to rage over things like this.

Also, I disagree with you completely. People are entitled to free speech, as in, they can say anything they want, however hateful or ignorant it is, and I will insist without compromise that they should never be arrested, fined, or censored for what they say.
That does not mean their opinions are worthy of respect. Homophobia destroys lives. There is no benign way to have a problem with non-heterosexual and non-cisgender people, just as there is no benign way to be a racist, a misogynist, a classist, and ableist or any type of bigot. I don't care how polite a bigot is, how erudite a bigot is; they are a threat to my freedom, they are a threat to people I care about. They must be convinced to abandon their bigotry, failing that, they should be marginalized and ostracized by society.

Look, what I'm trying to say is there is a difference between saying they're wrong and that they're beliefs are false, and explaining why they are false, what makes their opinions false- by simply stating they're false because it's not "moral" simply states that you are too opinionated yourself to actually think with their mindset. I believe if you're going to debate that you have to have an equal understanding as to why either side believes the things they do.

I seek to understand bigotry like a doctor seeks to understand a sickness; for the purpose of destroying it.
