That is irrelevant. The information presented is clearly being misrepresented. You're not going to convince anybody capable of thinking for themselves with such bullshit.

No, but its considered extremely poor form, on par with refusing to use at least halfway decent grammar and spelling.

I believe the argument boils down to "it's icky." Which is weird, because I think eating chips that fell in a puddle on the sidewalk is icky too, but for some reason I don't have a national political party basing its platform on preventing it.

Indeed, I consider eating (edible, not just hallucinogenic) mushrooms to be disgusting, and yet, you'll never see me condemn somebody for eating them (save for only in jest), nor will you hear me advocate intolerance or any form of mistreatment of people who eat mushrooms.

Scouts should be taught the dangers of all sexual activity with multiple partners. Especially the effects of having anal sex. Scouts should be taught to have sexual absence until over the age of consent and joined in wedlock.

Well, the BSA has changed its values to be more inclusive. Organizations change and evolve. I suppose you could advocate for repeal of this change inside the organization. That's your right.

It hasn't changed its values at all. It has merely reformed its policies to be more in line with those values, after they were perverted from the straight and narrow thanks to the influence of anti-Scouts like Christo et Ecclesiae.

Not secret at all. It's pretty clear: it means trying to be unerring in your adherence to moral principles.

Which includes unconditional acceptance of perfectly legitimate sexual preferences such as homosexuality, heterosexuality, bisexuality, pansexuality, and a lot of things in between.

If you don't accept those, you have erred in you adherence to moral principles, and therefore you are not morally straight.

is this really cleverly disguised sarcasm?

Except that people who WERE involved in scouting were being thrown out for something that doesn't actually inherently compromise the morals and values of the Scouts, and those whe weren't involved in scouting are only not involved because they're being kept from being involved in it. That's the REAL problems.

Oh, I understand it too.

It's just that it lacks any intellectual validity whatsoever, and is absolutely morally bankrupt.

As a Christian, I cannot embrace an anti-Christian position like CEE's that is completely incompatible with the teachings of the Christ in every way.

I hope CEE becomes a Christian someday, so he can see the error of his ways and reform.

I read a book by Freud on exactly that. It was the only book I ever read by him. I can tell you this. Freud cannot tell a joke.

I can't remember the exact jokes he used as examples but it was something like: "A man goes to the grocery store to buy some butter for his wife and he forgets it and she hits him in the head with her rolling pin. And now, we will see how when we analyze and break down this humorous joke, it becomes increasingly unfunny."
