Drop this, "I am better than them. They are all shallow jackasses" attitude you are projecting. They're mostly kids going through the same things that you do, and likely have at least some things in common with you. Maybe if you talked to them without assuming the worst about them you'd find out what they are, and make some genuine friends.

At some point they're talking about some group of people and one of them says "I don't think Ryan likes me" to which the other replies "Oh yeah, he totally doesn't because you're soooo gay. Like I can tone down the gay, but you just don't and he thinks that's annoying. ...oh, I probably shouldn't have told you that, don't tell anyone."

So I guess for the Ryan guy I'll never meet, there is such a thing as "too gay".


...granted, I guess you could also look at it from the perspective of any amount of gay is too gay to be into a member of the opposite sex.

I'd go as far as most in the case of myself, but then I tell them that I am not interested in romantic relationships as there is no room to juggle my goals and a romantic relationship of any kind. Got to prioritize if one wants to ameliorate their life.
