Prove, I cant: I'm not certain. But several things are suggestive.
1) Most states have a 'romio and juliet' law including the state in question.
2) The parents in this case (for most cases) are concerned about the gender of the partner (age or financial support) then the fact the dauter was having sex: despite parents infantalising there children.
3) Charges compered self-reporting are much higher with feamail "victims" than mail.
4) Historically most women were married before 14 and men before 16.
5) Parents make up a majority of voters and have a psicologial nead for children to be younger than they are.

None of these logically proves that the law is unjust. In fact, a number of the references seem to contradict your argument.

1.) Romeo and Juliet Laws, to my understanding, do not stipulate that this is anything other than statutory rape.

2.) This does not mean that statutory rape was not committed.

3.) What does this have to do with anything?

4.) Those aforementioned marriages occurred prior to the modern age, and generally against the will of the children in question. They were mostly political alliances of some sort. They were legitimized with the now disproven argument that children were little adults.

5.) This does not mean that statutory rape does not exist.

With all due respect, we require a line. I have no reason to suppose that the current system is unjust because no arguments have proven that an average eighteen year old is comparable in terms of maturity to an average fifteen year old.
