Nah, this was all The Godly Nations.

The God-Realm's got his own style of messing with people. I have him on Ignore, though, so I'd only see if he was up to his old ways if people quoted his posts in their replies to him.

It is a language. The Chinese consider themselves speaking a single language, and they consider the various dialects as just that, dialects.

Yeah, good luck with that; I support the long lost descendant to Qin Shihuang. I support neither the "People's Nation" nor "People's Republic", both being warlike and such - although admittedly, the "People's Nation" is the lesser of two evils by a small margin - thanks to the population only being cramped into that one tiny island.

Simply because there is not many difference between 'Norman-French' and Standard French. I suppose it may slightly more differences than, say, between Yorkshire Dialect, Geordie, and all that, from Standard English, but not too much.

It's gonna take more than that to convince me.

You have to provide details about these differences. Every proposition must have collaborating evidence to back it up.

Notice how the French, Jerrais, and Guernesiais hardly differ.

Norman (Normandy: Nourmaund, Guernésiais: Normand, Jèrriais: Nouormand) is a Romance language and one of the Oïl languages. Norman can be classified as one of the northern Oïl languages along with Picard and Walloon. The name Norman-French is sometimes used to describe not only the Norman language, but also the administrative languages of Anglo-Norman and Law French used in England. For the most part, the written forms of modern French and Norman are intercomprehensible.

No, Chinese and Japanese are not the same.

China has (as the VERY big fish in the East Asian pond) had a lot of influence on Japan throughout the centuries. But in terms of language and proto-cultures, no.

Nope, not a language. The languages of Chinese are mutually incomprehensible, and there's multiple subdivisions of it.

Yes, but they do not represent the view of the entire Communist Party, even if they are using it to publish their opinion, which the Communist Party organs would print because it is wildly nationalist, but does not necessarily agree with. In short, it is one of those things which almost every asian country is taking part in, this whole 'this is originally my land, so I'm going to claim it' thing. Like that four miles of rocks between the RoC, the PRC, and Japan.

The people of Japan are generally thought to have arrived from Korea and from Southeast Asia, possibly some from Sakhalin.

It wouldn't have gotten published at all if the leadership didn't agree with it, not to mention the Ministry of Foreign Affairs didn't disown it either when asked.

This is one of the funnier things I've read in NSG. Yeah, Japan is going to take on China with its declining birth rate, aging workforce, overwhelming national debt, and export-based economy that relies on Chinese markets. Not only that, but the average Japanese person is getting lonelier and less likely to marry and have children. Good luck building a military capable of challenging the PRC.

With regards to the article, the PRC did not make the claims directly and I don't see an issue with it if they did. I like how outraged and offened NSGers seem when they read this shit. Nobody really gives a shit what the PRC claims. It's like how the RoC claims all of mainland China.
