Actually I believe in US it is still age 18 if the two individuals live in seperate states, or maybe that is just the army. But in WA state at 16 you can have sex with who ever There are a couple states that I believe still have or have just recently changed their age of consent from 14. Right but the thing is that everyone can define child as different. The country or even state can say one thing but to someone they personally may not see them as a child. I guess you could call my ex a pedophile if you're being anal about it and define child as someone under 18. I was 15 he was 23. But I looked and acted a lot older then I was because I grew up fast. Would I call him that, no. Have I met people who would, yea. (We never slept together so nothing illegal occured I am simply talking about the emotional bond that was present at the time)

Everyone ages differently. I know someone who is 19 but mentally he might as well be 14. There is nothing wrong with the bonds but what one person calls a child others may not. Thats important to remember sometimes too.
